Mr. Newton writes a daily web blog called "In Search of the Perfect Investment," which focuses on investment trends and new technology. Mr. Newton's best-selling book is "Newton's Telecom Dictionary," now in its 27th edition. In an earlier life, Mr. Newton co-founded seven successful monthly magazines and several conventions, including "Computer Telephony Conference and Exposition," which, in its last year under his control, attracted 26,000 people. Criminal justice reform has long been one of his concerns.
